Collegiate Title Corporation is concerned with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), which poses a worldwide health emergency. The health and safety of our employees, clients, partners, and the communities we serve are our number one priority.

As the situation continues to evolve, we are closely following the most-up-to-date guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and implementing their recommendations throughout our offices.

Minimizing the spread of germs is one of the most important preventative measures we can take. Therefore, we have implemented new cleaning procedures throughout our offices. We are also actively educating staff, clients, and business partners on the preventative measures provided by the CDC.

Effective Immediately

• To reduce the number of attendees at closings/settlements, please adhere to the following:
• Only the required signers are to attend.
• No additional family members/friends
• Sellers are to sign their documents prior to closing and their arrival time will be scheduled accordingly.
• Lenders - Please provide and review with the Borrower the Closing Disclosure Statement (CD) and other mortgage documents prior to settlement.
• Lenders and Real Estate Professionals - Please consider not attending the settlement.
• Refinance transactions
• To protect the safety of our staff, refinance transactions will be held at the Collegiate Title Corporation offices/facilities. Requests for refinance settlements outside of our offices/facilities will be considered predicated for their extreme circumstances and on a case-by-case basis.

If you have Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms; have come in contact with anyone that has the virus; and/or feel ill, please notify our office immediately!

The closing/settlement will be cancelled and rescheduled.
